Online dating has been around since the ’90s, and it’s become as commonplace in our lives as entertainment and the media. Is online dating getting people into the relationships they truly want?

This study was conducted by Philipp Hergovich, of the University of Vienna, and Josué Ortega, of the University of Essex, based on 2013 data from the National Academy of Sciences.
